We humbly honour and acknowledge that we are gathered on Treaty 1 land, the traditional territory of the Anishinaabeg, Cree, Oji-Cree, Dakota, Lakota, and Dene Peoples, and the homeland of the Red River Métis Nation. We honour all the surrounding Treaty Territories of Canada and are grateful for their stewardship of this land and their hospitality. We also acknowledge and thank all of the Elders, Knowledge Keepers, and spiritual ancestors who provide the community with wisdom and guidance.
