Join Our EMDR Community Sessions: Strengthen Connections and Therapeutic Skills
At Elevate EMDR, we believe that connection and ongoing professional development are key to delivering the best care to our clients. As therapists, it’s crucial to feel supported, maintain a sense of belonging, and continually enhance our skills in order to provide compassionate, effective therapy.
Our EMDR Community Meetings are designed to provide that essential peer support. These regular meetings create a space for you to connect with other EMDR practitioners, share insights, and stay true to the EMDR protocol. Through collaboration and peer learning, we ensure that we not only refine our therapeutic skills but also nourish our own well-being.
Therapists often face challenges like compassion fatigue and burnout, especially when working in isolation. By staying connected with a supportive community, we boost our resilience, recharge our energy, and become better equipped to help our clients. We’re in this journey together—supporting each other and ensuring we bring our best selves to every session.

Exploring Transference and Countertransference in EMDR
For EMDR-Trained Therapists
Join us for our next Elevate EMDR Community Session—an engaging space for EMDR-trained therapists to connect, learn, and reflect together.
In this session, we’ll dive into Transference and Countertransference in EMDR Therapy (Piedfort-Marin, Journal of EMDR Practice and Research), exploring how therapists’ own conscious and unconscious reactions can shape the EMDR process. Together, we’ll discuss the role of mirror neurons in empathy and attunement, and take a fresh look at action systems in the therapeutic context.
Whether you’re newly trained or a seasoned EMDR therapist, you’ll find this session designed with your growth in mind. Bring your reflections, curiosities, and clinical insights. We’ll move between large group discussion and smaller breakout rooms, offering opportunities to share strategies, exchange experiences, and build meaningful connections within the EMDR community.

It all begins with connection. Our community sessions are available to increase your sense of connectedness with colleagues, consult on protocol or client cases, review and sharpen EMDR skills.
